Provo

Event production in Provo.

Utah County keeps us busy. Startup summits at the Utah Valley Convention Center, all hands meetings up in Lehi, and some of the largest community and youth productions in the state, a lot of which are run by volunteers who just need gear that works.

Curfews and volunteers

Noise limits, volunteer crews, and park power

More of the events we do down here run under a hard noise limit than anywhere else we work. City park rules, campus policies, building schedules, and neighbors who will call if it goes late. Planners spend a lot of energy negotiating volume, and it is usually the party that ends up paying for it.

Silent disco takes that problem off the table. Everybody wears LED headphones, the music is as loud as they want it in their own ears, and the room itself stays fairly quiet. We keep 750 headphones in house, which covers the largest activities we get asked about in the county.

When volunteers are running it

A lot of events down here are put on by people volunteering their Saturday, and that changes what a good setup looks like. We label things clearly, set the system up so the microphone that matters is the one that is easiest to grab, and walk whoever is running it through the few controls they will use. Nobody should have to learn a mixer right before a program starts.

Power in city parks

A park with one 20 amp outlet on a pole needs a different plan than a park with real service. We ask about power before we quote, and if there is not enough we bring our own rather than telling you about it the morning of.

Delivery in Utah County is quoted flat by distance from Farmington, and that number is on the quote up front.

Why Utah County

The events down here are bigger than people expect

Utah County puts on some of the largest gatherings in the state without making a big deal about it. Community celebrations with thousands of people, youth programs with more moving parts than most corporate galas, and tech companies that went from a small office to an all hands meeting for six hundred people in a couple of years.

The crowds are part of why we like it. People show up on time, they participate, and they will sing along, which makes it worth putting a real system in the room.

Budgets down here usually have to stretch, and we are fine with that. Our prices are published so nobody has to guess, and if the right answer for your event is to rent the gear and run it yourselves, we will set you up and show you how it works.

Questions we get often

Do you cover Provo and Utah County?

Yes, the whole county from Lehi down to Payson. Delivery and setup are quoted flat by distance from our shop in Farmington.

Can you handle events with strict noise rules?

This is where our silent disco headphones come in. We keep 750 of them, and they let a full dance floor happen at a volume the neighbors never hear.

Can you run sound for a large youth or community program?

Yes, we do a lot of them. That usually means wireless mics that stay clean with a lot of people talking, a system sized for the actual room, and a setup simple enough for a volunteer to run.

Do you do outdoor concerts in city parks?

Regularly. The two things worth settling early are what power is available and where front of house can sit.

How far ahead should we book a spring date?

As early as you can. April through June is our busiest stretch down here, and we would rather tell you now what is available than have you wait on us.
